In the spirit of giving young people a seat at the table to build a sustainable future, this year, the UN Global Compact India in partnership with Orion Square is looking for trailblazers and change makers (11-18 years, separate categories for middle and high schoolers) through #YouthImpact! We are looking for young creative and critical thinking minds looking to be heard and waiting to share their ideas, stories, thoughts and solutions! Are you one of them?
This is a platform for changemakers committed to Nation building. This is not a pitch competition, but rather a discovery process for YOU to build critical thinking, innovation and global altruism through- Creative writing, Short film making & Social Impact solutions. You are the champions of change who can bring in an equitable society-that is inclusive and sustainable.

- All registrations to get a participation e-certificate
- Top 10 finalists across all contests get an opportunity to present to UNGC India & the celebrity Jury members
- Finalists get a chance to interact online with Internet sensation- Vedant Rusty
- Winners will become Orion teen crusaders brand ambassadors for the year
- Creative writing winners will get an opportunity to get their thoughts published in leading media and mentored by members of the Jury
- Short film winner work be run on PVR nest and the winning film to be submitted to leading social impact film festival for students
- Case study winners will be mentored by Orion Square, winning solutions will be supported for implementation by leading Corporates in India

Kishwar Desai is an award winning author, columnist and a playwright. She is the Chair of the The Arts And Cultural Heritage Trust, which set up the world’s first and only Partition Museum. She has worked with major TV networks. For the last fifteen years, she has been a full time writer and occasional playwright.

Ramesh is an author, an award winning journalist, a documentary film maker and corporate trainer in soft skills. He is a recipient of the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism. He also got the Madhavankutty Gold Medal for Excellence in English Journalism.

Satya Narayanan R. is an entrepreneur, teacher, founder and chairman of CL Educate, with presence in Asia, North America and Africa. He is the founder of Career Launcher & Indus World Schools He is a published poet in Urdu and is working on a Sanskrit translation as well.

AKARSH KHURANA
(Producer & Director)
One of the leading theatre producers in India, Akarsh has produced over 60 plays & directed over 20. He won the award for Best Director twice at Thespo, written screenplays for films like Krrish, directed web series and a movie for anurag basu, wrote 2 seasons of Tripling and made films including Karwaan, featuring Irrfan Khan. He can be seen in the hugely popular series Yeh Meri Family on Netflix.
KAVITA JOSHI
(Documentary film-maker)
Kavita is an independent filmmaker and media trainer, an alumna of FTII Pune. She has been conducting workshops in filmmaking for over 18 years. She is a member of the International Association of Women in Radio and TV (IAWRT), and was one of the curators of Asian Women’s Film Festival. She has also served on the jury of various film festivals, including the National Film Awards, NSFA, Jeevika Film Festival etc
PAOLO FAVERO

Paolo Favero is Associate Professor in Film Studies and an Anthropologist at the Visual Culture at the Dept. of Communication Studies, University of Antwerp where he is also a member of the Visual and Digital Cultures Research Center (ViDi) and the chair of the MA in Film Studies and Visual Culture. Trained as a social anthropologist at the University of Stockholm Paolo works today mainly in the area of visual anthropology and visual culture.
VEDANT KAUSHIK

He makes popular YouTube videos about latest issues, movies, web series & TV shows and hosts interesting conversation on his podcast. He has performed several plays on stage and even won a national level award

Rudrani is a Trans activist who has been involved in community and HIV activism for over 12 years. She is currently heading a human rights organization ‘Mitr Trust’. She is also a model and opened the first Indian transgender modeling agency called Bold in 2015. She has featured in many films including Vikas Khanna’s – The Last Color.

Kamal Singh is currently leading as the CEO and is the Executive Director of Global Compact Network India (GCNI). Prior to joining GCNI, he was the Director General at National HRD Network. At GCNI, he has championed the SDG's & SDG 5 Gender Equality is one of the primary focuses.

Sanjay is an established global leader in Telecom and allied industry. He has been the CEO of Airtel for many years. Currently he is on the board of Bennett Coleman & Co. Nita is the founder of Rcube-A social venture dedicated to design, produce, market recycle products and ensure economic benefit to its network of producers. She has been the COO of Godfrey Phillips India for more than a decade before this. She has also been a mentor for Hult Prize India.
DIVYA JAIN

Divya works as a State Project Officer under Inclusive Growth in UNDP. She has previously worked with Ministry of Rural Development, Kaivalya Education Foundation and Swaniti Intiative across different states. She holds a masters degree in Development Studies from International Institute of Social Studies, The Netherlands. Her core interests are effective governance, rural livelihoods and working with rural communities particularly women. .
